Uterine Cancer Prognosis ? Treatment Options | Cervical dysplasia ...

Can you improve your uterine cancer prognosis? Fortunately, most women are diagnosed in the early stages, resulting in a greater chance of survival, however, about 18% of cases result in death. This is a frightening statistic and women and their families should know all the treatment options available.

Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy are the typical treatments advocated by oncologists. The more progressed the cancer, the harder it is to beat. Yet oncologists often do not reveal the inherent risks associated with these treatments. Surgery can inadvertently trigger the spread of cancer, and it has been shown that radiation after surgery does not increase survival.

The respected German biostatician Ulrich Abel, PhD, analyzed the value of chemotherapy on advanced cancer in over 3,000 clinical trials, and while oncologists tend to use chemotherapy because it may cause a temporary shrinking of the tumor, Abel concluded that there is no direct evidence that chemotherapy prolongs survival in these cases. Abel stated: ?Many oncologists take it for granted that response to therapy prolongs survival, an opinion which is based on a fallacy and which is not supported by clinical studies.?

Conventional treatments are so ingrained in the medical profession and so profitable for treatment providers and drug companies, that many natural cancer therapies with high success rates in arresting and reversing cancer are overlooked, yet patients have the right to know about them.

Unhappy with the unpleasant side effects of conventional treatments and their poor success, Cancer survivor and author, Karon Beattie, led a team of medical researchers to compile accounts of over 350 non-toxic and gentle cancer treatments that have a little-known track record for beating cancer, including uterine cancer.

In her book, Natural Cancer Treatments That Work, Beattie describes in one example, how an Australian chemist developed an alkalizing mixture, that together with a low phosphorus diet cured his wife?s uterine cancer as well as his own skin cancers. He went on to help others overcome various other cancers with the same approach.

Beattie also reports how Japanese studies have shown that a fruit extract is effective in treating uterine cancer as well as liver, lung and cervical cancers.

In addition, Beattie collected 2,000 cancer survivor stories posted on little-known websites and Internet bulletin boards. The stories include people who recovered from aggressive and metastatic cancers. Beattie found that most survivors took a combination of measures, such as combining a cancer-killing treatment with a treatment to boost immunity and to detoxify the body. This appeared to raise the chances of survival significantly. Beattie also found that most natural and alternative treatments are non-specific, meaning they work with different cancers.
