THE FINAL FOUR
Messiah vs. Misericordia, Friday, 8:30 p.m.
Wheaton (Ill.) vs. Emory, Friday, 6 p.m.

ABOUT MESSIAH
*Coach Scott Frey is 274-14-13 (.910) in his 13th year at the helm.
*Falcons (22-1-1) have outscored opponents 86-6 on the season, including 13-1 in four NCAA tournament games.
*Four women lead Messiah with double-digit goals, including Alex Brandt (17g, 13a), Rachel Scheibler (14g, 6a), Nikki Elsaesser (10g, 11a) and Alicia Frey (12g, 4a).
*Goalkeeper Audra Larson and her defense have pitched 20 shutouts this season.
*Falcons are making their ninth consecutive appearance in the Final Four.
*Messiah is going for its fifth national title, which would give the program the most in Division 3 history above UC San Diego (4) and Wheaton (3). The Falcons won national titles in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2011.

ABOUT MISERICORDIA
*Coach Mark Stauffer is 170-83-15 (.634) in his 13th year.
*Cougars (20-2-2) have outscored opponents 76-12 on the season, including 5-0 in four NCAA tournament games.
*Four women lead Misericordia with double-digit goals, including Sam Helmstetter (18g, 9a), Laura Roney (14g, 11a), Megan Lannigan (10g, 7a) and Meghan Antrim (10g, 1a).
*Goalkeeper Maureen Ciccosanti has helped the defense pitch 15 shutouts this season.
*The Cougars have qualified for the NCAA tournament seven times, but didn?t earn a win until last season.

OF LOCAL INTEREST
*Messiah?s roster is loaded with talent from the Mid-Penn Conference, including Holly Burgard (Mechanicsburg), Alex Brandt (Mechanicsburg), Elizabeth Phillips (Cumberland Valley), Alicia Frey (Northern), Ali Rogers (Hershey), Carly Schaefer (Camp Hill), Rebecca Snyder (Boiling Springs) and Kyele Bridel (Gettysburg).
*Kimberly Gottshall (Palmyra) and Lindsay Hoover (Red Land) play for Misericordia.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
*Messiah defeated Misericordia 2-0 on Sept. 22.
*Wheaton is seeking its fourth national title.
*Emory handed Messiah its only loss of the season, a 2-1 setback on Sept. 1.
