Trading Depot's New Recruit Sparks Interest In Electrical Products

Trading Depot is delighted to welcome their newest member of staff, Alistair Rainbow (pictured) who joins us to help diversify and enhance the electrical side of our existing online catalogue.

He brings with him a wealth of experience from over ten years working in electrical wholesale and within just a few days of starting has already drawn up a 'strategic roadmap' of where he believes Trading Depot should be focussing it's energy.

This plan of action includes numerous changes and improvements to the Electrical Supplies section of the site: some minor, some more dramatic but all of which will improve both the usability and navigation for our visitors,? as well as raise our profile in the search engines.

Since launch in 2008 Trading Depot has established it's name as a major online player in a number of the home renovation and DIY sectors including most notably plumbing supplies, bathroom suites, and showers.

The Electrical product range has seen some tremendous success too over the past few years with returning customers valuing the fast service and low prices on offer across a range of products including armoured cable, switches and sockets, consumer units, extractor fans, conduit, trunking and more.

?There is always room for improvement however and this is where Alistair comes in. Talking enthusiastically about his plans he comments:

"There are a number of exciting new product ranges that we plan to add shortly, along with a certain amount of reorganisation that I feel would benefit Trading Depot's customers."

Work is underway on a number of sections including the ever popular MK Logic Plus switches and sockets section and the product ranges which make up the Decorative Switches and Sockets section that includes products from manufacturers such as Hamilton.

At this time of year though as the weather gets colder and the evenings get darker it is products such as the Dimplex electric heaters, outdoor lighting, and security products like burglar alarms and CCTV cameras that become particularly popular.
