Kroger Going Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Month ...

A national grocery store chain headquartered in Cincinnati is working to shed a light on this serious health issue.? Kroger's "Giving Hope a Hand" program donates around three million dollars a year to help battle cancer.?

The kickoff on Monday morning began with a "lighting" ceremony at the downtown headquarters of the Kroger company. The building is shining with pink light and will continue to do so for the month of October.

Meanwhile, Kroger has partnered with General Mills and Yoplait? to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure?. This year's texting campaign pledges Yoplait? will donate $1 to support breast cancer awareness and research - up to $75,000 - by consumers texting PINK to 80404.? You can text anytime until November 3.
